Mu, still skeptical, but willing to be reasonable tells Po Lo that if the black stallion can defeat any horse in his stable of of Kao's choosing, he will be accepted. <br /><br />Kao, to Mu's shock, chooses the finest horse in Mu's stable, a magnificent white stallion. Mu says that if Kao's chose can stay within the dust of his champion, Kao will be accepted. Ultimately, the black stallion comes from behind and wins outright, and the white champion's heart bursts in the effort to avoid defeat.<br /><br />That is what I can remember from fifty years ago.
